Bird Problem solved!

All week we have been trying to get rid of this pesky bird! It has been trying to build a nest on top of our porch light. We have taken down starts of nests every day this week (sometimes twice a day!) When I saw this nest on Friday, I caught the bird in action! After taking the nest down again, Brian put a orange ball on top of our light so that they couldn't build there any more. Surprisingly, it has worked. I think the bird finally got the hint. So anyone wondering what that orange ball is doing there, now you know.

You're brilliant! Although I'm sure the ball looks funny...

Great idea! We had birds in our dryer vent last year! They were lifting up the cover with their beaks and flying in! I hope they don't leave your house and come back to ours! :)

I can't see the orange ball, so it must be hidden good. Do the kids miss the bird?

Thanks for the laugh. What a great post! I laughed out loud as I drove by and saw the orange ball perched proudly above the light fixture. :)
