More Digital Scrapbooking

A few days last week and yesterday, I have been able to work on some scrapbooking. I just love how the pages are turning out. Besides the not-very-smart Cosco Photo Lab Lady, I have really enjoyed myself. Here are some of the favorites. (Yes, some of those pictures are from last year. I'm still catching up. Better late than never.)

2007 Scrapbook Pages

My mom has a scrapbook that we all make pages for. We each make 2 pages of our family for the whole year. It has been so fun to look at and see how we change over the years. I finally got my pages done for 2007. I love how they turned out. Now the pressure is on all my sisters to get their pages done! :-)

Going Digital - Part 2

I have spent a good part of today working on my digital scrapbooking. I'm trying to figure out all the tricks, including printing. After talking to the people in the photo department at Costco I learned that I could print 3 scrapbook pages (12X12) on one paper (12X36) for $4.99. Not a bad price, I thought. Then, I had to figure out how to save 3 pictures side by side and save it as one file. It took me a while, but I think I got it. I downloaded my pages onto Costco's website and ordered them from home. (There is no 12X36 option online, so you just pick 12X18 and then call them so they know to change it to 12X36 before it prints). Luckily, the girl that was working at Costco today was very helpful and gave me some good suggestions. I picked up my pages, cut them apart, and in the book they went! I've already got more pages ready to print, I think I like this digital stuff!

Going Digital

I've decided to try digital scrapbooking! I think that there are pros and cons, so I've never looked into it real seriously. Well, while we were at the CHA show in California I found some software I decided to try. I've been playing with it the last few days and this is what I have come up with for my first digital scrapbook page. I will print this on 12X12 paper (at Kinko's or Costco) and put it in my scrapbook. I figure I would have had to print the pictures, but now I'm printing pages instead. We'll give it more time to see if I am hooked, but I still have a lot of papers and embellishments, so I'll still be doing it the old fashioned way too.
